DESCRIPTION: Heritage conservation of Famagusta. Web-based interactive tour of Famagusta’s churches and it’s history. Designed in good faith as a prototype of potential digital futures for scholarship in art history and cultural heritage.

WORKED ON: Approximate reconstruction of the layout of medieval Famagusta based on surviving drawings and paintings. Procedural generation of paths, walls and background buildings in Houdini for medieval Famagusta map. Cleanup of lidar scans and rendering of captured churches. Artist impressions of St Anne’s mural locations and colors based on chemical composition and surviving photos. Removal of modern furniture from St Peter and Paul’s church interior. 3D models for Church Builder.
